- To train excellent teachers who successfully gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and enter the teaching profession as confident, enthusiastic and effective Early Career Teachers (ECTs), helping to address local recruitment needs and contributing to raising standards and improving pupil outcomes in the region.
- To provide high quality Initial Teacher Education (ITE) in collaboration with our partners which is informed by an evidence-based approach and the latest developments in pedagogical theory and practice.
- To ensure that all involved with our teacher training programmes uphold the highest levels of professional and personal conduct, commitment, and integrity.
