Trainees Develop Inclusive Practice at Spring SEND Conference

Our first of two SEND conferences this academic year provided an excellent opportunity for our primary and secondary trainees to work collaboratively and deepen their knowledge and understanding.

Some of our trainees got into the Peter Pan theme with their mentors and host teachers in the Humanities faculty at St Mary’s College to celebrate World Book Day and help promote the love of reading for pleasure with the pupils.

The Sunday Times School Guide 2024 has named St Mary's College Hull as the Comprehensive School of the Year ending an amazingly successful year for the school.   Click to read more. 

Our primary and secondary trainees of 2022-23 celebrated their successful achievement of QTS with a fun night of music, speeches, good food, and plenty of bubbly.   The music was provided by the talented local band Mambo Jambo who got everyone toe-tapping and joining in.  

There was a celebratory atmosphere at the final Professional Studies training session in June for our 2022-23 cohort of secondary trainees.
