Fees and Funding

It is important to check that you have the correct financial information when applying for teacher training as levels of government funding can change each year.   You’ll find our course costs, further information and some useful links set out below.

Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for our QTS programmes are £8325.  The cost of the optional PGCE with the University of Hull is £925.   Therefore the combined total for both the QTS and PGCE is £9250.  

You can pay for these using the student loans system (see below) or you can fund them yourself. If you are self-funded, please see the VNHTT Fee Policy for details on the payment terms.

Student Loans

You may be eligible for maintenance and tuition fee loans to help you with the costs of teacher training, these vary depending upon a number of factors, including household income, so please visit the Student Loans Company website for more information
