Comprehensive School of the Year

St Mary's College, the headquarters of Vantage North Humber Teacher Training, has already had much to celebrate this term.  Firstly, when the annual academic league tables were published, St Mary's College was shown to be in the top spot in Hull and East Yorkshire for 'Progress 8', reflecting the excellent progress that our students make.   St Mary's College | Top performing school in Hull for Progress 8 (smchull.org)

Then in its Ofsted inspection (November 2023) the college was judged as 'Outstanding' in every category.  This means the school has achieved the remarkable feat of sustaining a Grade 1 judgement in every Ofsted inspection it has had for 13 years.   One of the many key strengths highlighted in the inspection report was the exemplary and innovative approach to personal development demonstrated by the staff team.
